John 1:1-18

What is the message about? . . .

Humans always seemed to have had a fascination with the point in time or space at which something starts. The first words of John's gospel and the first words of Genesis are the same, "In the beginning..." What is the power behind all that has come into being? What is the nature of that power? How was it represented by John? How did it come to live among us in the form of a human being, Jesus? How is this power manifest today and how does it move, direct and influence our lives now? From the beginning until now. Can we cover it all in fifteen minutes? Not really, but it might be fun to hear an attempt at it. See you Sunday!
